< About 15560 years contrary to what many claim.

There's about 76 generations from the time of Jesus to the time of Adam! Assuming that they all had their sons 50 years apart, that's about 3800 years separating Jesus and Adam.

However, it is said that about 25 generations in the time of Adam lived up to 1000 years. And the rest dwindling down to 120 years, as the case with Moses, then even dwindling down further.

So putting this together, assuming they each had children in half their lives (Abraham had his in his last years of ~99!), the figure might be closer to 15560 years of separation.
Practically, the Bible is urging us to test these figures to give it its credibility. I mean, come on, when the Bible has genealogies and even the number of years people lived, I bet the Bible's writers are asking for testing of their records.
