It is not to pay half your income to it. Neither To preach about it all your life.To die for your faith is to not get anything in return in the physical life. That’s what makes your message so serious.
Well, that’s what most of the prophets and apostles did with their faith. And the fact that we got historical records of this is really important.

There's no significance of Christians dying for their faith.

In addition, many Muslims are killed or tortured if they had objections or created any opposition against their religion. Convert-Muslims usually have to come to US or some other similar country to have protection from others.
Christians didn’t Die because of Oppression and Brainwashing
On the other hand, the early Christians were oppressed against their faith and willing to die for it. They didn’t have a whole nation of Christians to support them or threaten them if they turned from the faith. That didn’t exist. Especially since they converted to Christianity on their own, there must have been a strong reason at work other than peer oppression.
