Is this a serious argument against God?
< No. This is a common objection against God but really isn’t a serious one.
If people do not believe in God, then they would be forced to believe that the universe either always existed or created itself from nothing.But believing that the universe can do this and not God is absurd... there is no reason to say the universe can do this and not God.
