< Since He’s so perfect, he’ll burn every sinful thing up. (Biblical)

Exo 33:3  Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people."

< Since by definition, sin means separation from God.

How could God separate from Himself?

>> But He sort of separated Himself from Himself when all sin fell on Jesus.

That's why Jesus said,  "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" that is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mat 27:46 )
