If God doesn't judge the children based on the Father's sin, then why did Adam's sin transfer down to all the descendants?

 For it says somewhere in the Bible that God doesn't judge the father based on the son's sins, and doesn't judge the son based on the father's sin. 

By why did Adam's sins transfer? 

 

< Because they were not alive yet.

If they were alive, then they wouldn't inherit the punishment of sin.


 

<> The children won't get blamed because of Adam's sins. 

But they will still get punished as a result of Adam bringing sin into the world.
