If God is all-loving, he wouldn't send his children to infinite punishment for finite infringement. So why does the Bible say so?
< STRONG God gave humans freewill to choose to love him or not.
God created humans so that he could love us and be loved in return by us. Think, if our only option was heaven and spending eternity with God, we would have no choice and would be forced to love him. Is being forced to love someone really love? Of course not.
>> "Then why would God have to make hell so bad?"
< STRONG Hell was made for Satan and his demons not people.
First of all, hell was made for Satan and his demons not people. Secondly, if hell was simply boring and not excruciating, then choosing heaven over boredom would not be a very big decision and not involving a very immense amount of love. When hell is as bad as it is explained in the Bible (heaven and hell being polar opposite) it makes our decision to choose God that much more meaningful and thus provides the opportunity for us to love God in the largest possible way. God could also be trying to make the decision the most blatantly obvious possible as to which one we should choose. Also, if God forced us not to commit evil, our free will would be forfeited and we would not love him but rather be forced to love him.

< STRONG It's similar to courts in the secular physical world which sentences their citizens to infinite "void"
And this is only for a finite infringement.
It seems like the same thing for God sending rebellious people to hell.
>> But eternal hell is much worse than peaceful death.
It's not fair.
< Well, who wants to die?
No one (except those on drugs and living a terrible life).
< A little evil in infinite time is no good
Something done even in the finite may not be trustworthy to be done less in infinite, is it now? It's like multiplying .0001 * infinite and thus getting a real bad trouble maker.
Most likely the ones who should be sent to hell are the ones who have really evil hearts, like Satan. For example, even if they get punished or get forgiven, they may still want to commit crime or rebel against God
>> But those people who do bad things are just people who are sick in the mind.
They don't deserve hell.
< How do you know it's just sickness?
Could be freewill of the spirit.
>> Why can't God just force the evil people to not do evil?
That way He doesn't have to send them to hell for eternal punishment.
