If it is useful to led people to Christ... isn't there nothing wrong with it?
>> There is nothing wrong with theistic evolution.
Christians shouldn't bother.
< STRONG Problems with theistic evolution
Following is a comparison between the two views of theistic evolution and Creationism; numbers oppose each other in the two views below.
Theistic Evolution
1) says that animals gradually improved their lifespans, from small lifespans to large.
2) says that animals were less perfect and then became more perfect (ex: better brains).
3) says that mankind started with ONE large animal population in Africa.
4) says that animals came from asexual to sexual.
5) says God indirectly created Man.
6) says that since there were no original man, then there were no original sin.
7) if not explained right, then since there were no original sin, then there's no impulse for why Man love to do evil things.
8) if not explained right, then since there were no original sin and thus no impulse to do evil, then there's no reason for Jesus dying for us.
Creation
1) says Adam and Eve lived forever till eating the fruit. After the fruit, the lifespans decreased.
2) says that the most perfect humans lost their perfectness, and thus gradually grew from perfect to less perfect.
3) says mankind started with Adam and Eve.
4) says man was made first, then woman. (doesn't say man was asexual)
5) says God directly created Man.
6) says there's original man
7) says since there's original man, there's original sin
8) says since there's original sin, then gives reason why Jesus died for us. Paul said for sin entered through one man, and so existed through one man.
See? There are many essential differences.
